Holiness
By Donald Nicholl
With a Foreword by Ronald Rolheiser
Holiness can change your life.
This intensely readable, profoundly reflective book is for individuals, parish groups, clergy—anyone who is drawn to seek and understand holiness. First published in 1981, incorporating the spirituality of many religions and cultures, Donald Nicholl’s modern classic is now available in this stunningly beautiful new edition.
“Donald Nicholl’s Holiness is for everyone: those inside our churches, and those outside, beginners and proficients alike. This profound work of disarming simplicity introduces us to what’s deep inside the wells of our ancient spiritual traditions, and to what’s deep inside our own hearts. Certain spiritual secrets are worth knowing. Holiness will surprise you with some you thought you knew—but didn’t.”
— RONALD ROLHEISER, FROM THE FOREWORD
“Offers wisdom gleaned from living, struggling and suffering…in a word, not from trying to be holy, but from being made holy—by Another.”
— MEGAN MCKENNA
“Read this book at your own peril: you will never again believe that holiness is beyond you.”
— WILLIAM A. BARRY, S.J.
